The Waiting Game

Well, I think we’re about as ready for this baby as we’re going to be.  The essentials are all here….we’ve got a place for him to sleep…supplies for changing his diaper…and the must-have boppy for feedings:)  With my due date, Oct 1st, only about a week away, I understand it could still be two weeks until he shows his face.  My mid-wife will offer me an induction beginning around the 7th or 8th if I don’t go into labor by then, but she will also let me wait it out if I want to, but the latest she would let me wait it out would be the 15th….boy that seems far away.  We’re just going to play it all by ear.  I definitely am excited to meet our sweet little boy, but I want him to be good and ready to come at the same time.  I am trying to use these last days to rest lots, but also to get little projects and tasks done around the house that will help to have done when the baby comes.
