Activities for runny-nosed hermits

We’re on round two at our house of just the annoying, seasonal cold stuff.  No fever, no vomiting, none of the other junk (and thank goodness!).  But needless to say we’re on a stretch of days where the kiddos are a little too sick to go anywhere, and mama’s just not motivated to go anywhere either.  So I’m trying not to go bonkers as we hermit ourselves indoors as well as embrace the fact that we are in the dead of winter.  Yesterday was murder.  Today was like an amazing-breath-of-fresh-air-day when it felt like the creativity fairies just dropped some goods on our doorstep.  My kids took the bait.

Punching away with paper and craft supplies.  Can’t believe he stayed here for a good half hour doing this!

Shooting some ball with the set from Grandma Headley he got for Christmas.  Tava even gets a shot in here and there!

But we all know this is the kid’s true love.  I’ve been indulging him this week allowing him to play my acoustic guitar.  At least someone’s getting some use out of it! I fear my guitar playing days are over….and just might be taken over by the little man:)
