They Let Me Out!
Every once and a while the leadership at camp lets me out of my office to lend a hand in some of the other areas at camp
On Tuesday of this week there were no groups in camp, so a whole bunch of us stepped away from our regular responsibilities to help the maintenance guys try and finish up a building project before the winter hits. We worked for the entire day putting up the steel siding, insulating, stapling plastic, and attaching the ceiling to our new winter equipment storage building. This building will hold the trail groomers and snowmobiles. It’s heated so that the ice will melt off the equipment and it’s located right next to one of the ski trails for easy access.
It was a lot of fun to work with the staff on this project! Plus, since I wan’t behind the camera lens, there actually were some pictures of me working! (Thanks Laura Viol!)
