Flambeau River Trip

This mother’s day weekend we packed up and headed to the Flambeau River for an overnight camping trip.  We started out with snow on the ground on Saturday morning but by the time we started paddling mid afternoon it wasn’t too bad!  Temps dipped below freezing that night and we woke up to frost but it just reminded us of God’s awesome creativity in the seasons and weather.  We stayed warm overnight since we were prepared for low temps and packed accordingly.  It was a great time filled with fun memories.  As all our camping trips are.  Thanks Gramma Schutt for watching the little kiddos while we were out!
