A Beautiful Day To Ski

Today’s weather was so amazing that we took full advantage of it.  We dressed the kids up in their snow gear and headed to camp to get some skiing in.  Lauren was up on skiis for the first time last year so this year she sort of knew what she was doing.  She sure has an amazing dad because he took her up and down the ski hill SEVERAL times! 

I think you can tell by this picture that she really enjoyed her time!

While Jack was patiently waiting for his turn to try he got a ride on the snowmobile from Larry.  You can’t tell by his face here but he really did have fun.  After Larry left he kept saying, “Go for a ride, more”.  I think he liked it!

Then the moment came for Jack to try skiing for the first time.  He also loved it!  Jesse said he seemed to even know how his body was supposed to bend and hold himself up on the skis.  Give him a few years and he’ll be zooming around all by himself! 

The kids and I also got some tubing runs in, which was a lot of fun.  But sure made me realize how old I am getting.  It was scary! 

The day was awesome and we ended our time at camp by eating lunch.  Now, as the kids are talking to each other I can hear them talking about when the next time they will go skiing is!  Fun day had by all.
