Four Weeks Left

Wow, it is already May 1st! There are only four full weeks until Youth Camps begin, and we are preparing now. As you may already know, Camp Forest Springs has asked us if we would be willing to return to serve during the first seven weeks of the summer. The plan is that we will move over there and then continue on our deputation once the Youth Camps are over. It would sure be nice if our support came in before then though!

My parents have been very gracious in letting us stay with them these past nine months. But once we move out (May 31st) they will begin some remodeling. That means that after Youth Camps, we will not have a place to stay. I know that God will provide something though. In all of the unknowns we have been through, God has always provided in His timing, and in His way.

I hit the “send” button and mailed out our first Schutt’s Snapshots Email Newsletter this afternoon. Hopefully everyone that wanted one got it correctly. Let me know if it did not work. By the way, our support is just shy of 73%!

Mother/Daughter Retreat

Once again we were on the move over the weekend. This time it was back to Camp Forest Springs where April and her mother, Michele, attended the CFS Mother/Daughter retreat. They said that they had a wonderful time. I spent the weekend with my good friend Herbie. We spent a bunch of time working over ideas that we plan to implement once we return to camp full-time. By the way, did you see the new graph above? As of today our support is at 70.1%! It is getting so close! Who know, maybe God will bring in the rest before the summer. But we know that His timing is perfect so it makes no sense for us to get too worked up.

Ekalaka Montana

Pretty soon we could be called world travelers! April and I had the awesome opportunity to go to Trails End Ranch in Montana with our friends, Chris and Kathy Nathan, over the Easter break to deliver a donated vehicle. We managed to stop along the way to find a geocache in Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota.
