FCC Saint Paul

April and I had the pleasure of returning to First Covenant Church of St. Paul this past weekend. We were able to stay with Joleigh and Levi (My sister and brother-in-law) in Brooklyn Park and then attend Worship with friends at First. After the service we had a great meal at a local Mexican restaurant with Bill and Rachel Cranford. Following the meal, we had the opportunity to meet with the Jason and Dawn Huso family. Thanks for your great hospitality.

As of today, our support is just shy of 60%. We are still hoping and praying for 100% in the next few months!

Bemidji, MN

Once again, we had a great time visiting with friends in the Bemidji, MN area. We spent a very nice weekend meeting with people regarding the direction that God is leading us. There are only a few months until summer begins and our support is steadily climbing. It is very possible that we will be able to return to camp in time for the Youth Camps. That is what April and I are hoping for!!! God is also teaching us the importance of waiting on Him. It is very easy to get discouraged but we have to continue to remember that He is in control in all aspects of our lives!

Busy Few Days

Thank so much to all of the friends and family that have been so generous to April and me over the past few days. The 13th-17th of January were spent in Bemidji meeting with people to talk about the part that April and I will play in the ministry of Camp Forest Springs. When all was completed, we had six different meetings over the extended weekend! We are currently at 38% of our financial support need, due to several generous gifts. That number should continue to climb in the near future as we await to hear from several people that have indicated that they want to participate.
