God’s Provisions!

Last night April and I went hunting.  It was lightly raining and the forest was beautiful since the leaves are nearly at their peak colors!  I saw several deer and was able to take one with a clean shot.  We tracked it for about 150 yards and had a very difficult drag back to the truck.

We will process it this evening and we are very grateful for God’s provisions.  It reminds me that in many of God’s provisions for us, something must die.  All the meat that we eat came from something that was once living.  Even the vegetables needed to die for us to eat. 

God was very generous in providing His Son to make a way for us to truly live.  Jesus needed to die in order to make provision for our sins.  Just a thought…

Fall Colors Are Coming

The fall colors are really starting to pop out here at CFS.  I have never been here during the Autumn season and it truly is spectacular!
