Busy Few Days
Thank so much to all of the friends and family that have been so generous to April and me over the past few days. The 13th-17th of January were spent in Bemidji meeting with people to talk about the part that April and I will play in the ministry of Camp Forest Springs. When all was completed, we had six different meetings over the extended weekend! We are currently at 38% of our financial support need, due to several generous gifts. That number should continue to climb in the near future as we await to hear from several people that have indicated that they want to participate.

Christmas Update
The Christmas season has been as busy as it always is. Christmas Eve found us in Sandstone, celebrating with the Schutt family. We then left for Wintertainment, Camp Forest Springs’ winter camp for high school age kids. It was a fast paced time of spiritual renewal, food, and excitement. April and I were responsible to put together a media presentation of the week for the kids to enjoy on the last night of camp. After Wintertainment, April and I traveled the rest of the way to Green Bay to spend some time with April’s family. It was a much needed time of rest after the incredibly hectic week at Wintertainment.
We certainly enjoyed being back at camp. It was nice to be able to reconnect with the people and place that we will be serving. As we are on deputation, and away from camp, it seems that we can become somewhat disconnected. So, it was refreshing to get back into the area that we will be serving.
