Lots has happend!
This past month has been quite an adventure. Over Christmas break Jesse and I were able to travel to Sandstone to spend time with Jesse’s family. His sister Hannah even came home for a visit, which was a lot of fun since it had been close to a year since we had seen her last. One of the highlights of the Christmas break was Christmas day. Since Jesse comes from a big family it was large enough to be able to play floor hockey. So we all piled in the vans and spent a few hours at church in the gym playing floor hockey. It was a lot of fun!
We traveled home the day after Christmas to get back to camp in time to get ready for Wintertainment. Wintertainment is an 8th-12th grade winter camp that is held between Christmas and New Years. There were about 170 campers here for the week. Jesse and I helped lead the youth in worship for the bible sessions that happened twice a day. The rest of the week we were out taking pictures and video to put together a highlight video of the week. It was such an amazing time to spend with all the kids. There were several significant decisions made for Christ this past week. Please pray for the kids as they have gone home that their fire for God would spread!
After Wintertainment was done we decided to make one more quick trip for the holidays. Jesse and I got in the car on New Years Eve and drove to Green Bay where we spent a few days with my family. It was fun to catch up with them and play darts and pool! Thank you everyone for your prayers as we did a lot of traveling this past month.
And finally an update on the baby…My belly is continuing to grow and it seems to be getting bigger on a daily basis! It has been such a blessing feeling the baby twist and turn inside of me. My next appointment is on the 10th of this month and I will be having the diabetes screening. A standard test they do with everyone to make sure your blood sugar is correct. Please continue to pray for the health and safety of the baby and me. Jesse and I can’t wait to be parents!
Happy New Year Everyone.
