November Prayers
October has been a busy month in development at Camp Forest Springs. Matt has logged four trips to Chicago since September 28th and a little over 4,000 miles traveling across the state and around the greater Chicago area.
November should be equally as busy, just in a little different direction. As many of you know, we bought a house this summer and have been working on getting it ready for Simon and a second little one. Simon’s bedroom is just about completed and the new babies room is yet to be painted.
Please also continue to pray for Julie as each day really gets a little harder. As she gets bigger it is harder to care for Simon during the day and is exhausted by 5:00 when I get home. November 20th is the official due date although we will continue to wait and see if she last’s that long.
Please pray for Simon as well as he has a huge adjustment to make when his baby brother arrives. He really is too young to understand what is going on other than there are some toys around he hasn’t played with in a while and a second car seat in the living room (so he can get used to seeing it around). Moving into his new room here in a week or so should also be an adjustment for him I am sure.
Thanksgiving this year will include the entire Tarp family here at the Huffmans house in Rib Lake as the baby is due close to Thanksgiving and all I can say is that 9 months ago, it made a lot more sense for us to plan on hosting this year.
Please pray for the Huffman’s as we continue to raise support needed to sustain our ministry here at Camp Forest Springs. Over the course of the last couple months we have lost a significant level of support due to life circumstances beyond the control of a few of our supporters. Therefore, we are needing to make up that support.

July / August Prayers
July July has been a really busy month with preparations for Family Camps and several trips for Gift in Kind. Please pray for safety on the road but also that all the details are worked out for the special activities Matt is involved with for the 7 weeks of Family Camps. Please also pray for the families that will be encouraged and impacted through the Family Camp ministry.
Julie and baby are doing good. Please continue to pray as the baby continues to develop and comfort as Julie is starting to hit the “uncomfortable” stage, especially at night. Julie is also planning to go to Columbia August 18th for her brothers wedding. Please pray that her Passport arrives soon and that we can get settled in the house before she leaves.
Simon continues to grow and we are realizing things need to go higher and higher as he grows and becomes more curious. He has discovered he loves swimming with Julie in the lake and eating only what mom is eating on her plate, not what is right in front of him. Simon turns 1 year old today, July 28th.
Buying a house The bank called on Wednesday and we are scheduled to close on the house Friday August 3rd in Medford Wisconsin. Please pray for the family as there are a lot of memories associated with the house. Please pray that everything continues to go smoothly.
Moving We are planning on being moved out of our apartment by August 13 and settled into the new house.

June 2007
When faced with hardship, the world would tell us to search deep within yourself for the solution. God tells us in Scripture to look to Him when we are facing difficulties through Prayer. Prayer is our opportunity to communicate with God the things we are thankful for, the things that burden us and the people around us in need.
For the month of June:
Please continue to pray for Julie and the baby !
Continue to pray for Simon as he continues to grow and develop.
Pray for the youth campers who will be in camp over the course of the next five weeks and for the things they will learn while at camp.
Pray for the 7 weeks of family camps which Matt will be involved with from July 22 till Labor Day weekend.
Pray for the Golf Classic Fundraiser Event taking June 30th in Stevens Point, WI.
Pray for Wisdom for Julie and I as we make decisions on purchasing a home in the area.
Thank you so much for your prayers and we look forward to posting results to these prayers request’s as Stones of Blessing next month.

Prayer Needs June 2007
Please pray as Julie and I search for a home in the area to purchase. We are currently looking a few places in the Rib Lake Wisconsin area.
Continue to pray for Julie as she is now in her second trimester of the second pregnancy. The latest ultrasound revealed it is a boy!
Please Pray for Matt and the rest of the Program Team as they gear up for the 2007 Family Camp. This years theme: Dead and Alive !
Continue to pray for the development of Simon who is now almost 11 months old and growing like a weed. He is crawling everywhere he can go and has begun pulling himself up on furniture and toys.
Please pray for our youth camps which will be going on until July 21st. Pray for safety for both staff and campers and for the spiritual impact that will take place through our staff and speakers.
