November Prayers

October has been a busy month in development at Camp Forest Springs.  Matt has logged four trips to Chicago since September 28th and a little over 4,000 miles traveling across the state and around the greater Chicago area.

November should be equally as busy, just in a little different direction.  As many of you know, we bought a house this summer and have been working on getting it ready for Simon and a second little one.  Simon’s bedroom is just about completed and the new babies room is yet to be painted.

Please also continue to pray for Julie as each day really gets a little harder.  As she gets bigger it is harder to care for Simon during the day and is exhausted by 5:00 when I get home.  November 20th is the official due date although we will continue to wait and see if she last’s that long.

Please pray for Simon as well as he has a huge adjustment to make when his baby brother arrives.  He really is too young to understand what is going on other than there are some toys around he hasn’t played with in a while and a second car seat in the living room (so he can get used to seeing it around).  Moving into his new room here in a week or so should also be an adjustment for him I am sure.

Thanksgiving this year will include the entire Tarp family here at the Huffmans house in Rib Lake as the baby is due close to Thanksgiving and all I can say is that 9 months ago, it made a lot more sense for us to plan on hosting this year.

Please pray for the Huffman’s as we continue to raise support needed to sustain our ministry here at Camp Forest Springs.  Over the course of the last couple months we have lost a significant level of support due to life circumstances beyond the control of a few of our supporters.  Therefore, we are needing to make up that support
