Nellie graduated from Kindergarten
Our last Kindergarten Graduation came and went this Spring. (deep sigh) I’ve never cried as I’ve sent them off to school, but this was a tough one. How could these years be fleeting by so quickly? It was a real wake-up call as we realized that Carter is only home for another six years. And that time will speed by as well.

Dave and I celebrated 15 years of marriage in May
We had a great time getting away. I called it “de-tox,” and it was. We read and talked (without being interrupted!) and just reconnected for several days, and it was such a great- and much needed- time!

Nellie turns Six
Dave’s folks were here from Oregon in April as we celebrated Nellie’s birthday. We love having them here, and, as you can see, they work hard to be wonderful grandparents…
