Winter + Entertainment = Wintertainment… AKA - the most fun Christmas vacation you will ever have.  This year 50 staff and 233 campers arrived shortly after Christmas for the week of wintertainment.  It is an action packed winter week full of activities of skiing, snowboarding, tubing, snowshoeing, ice skating, hot chocolate, board games, and much more.  Dave Creek, our speaker, spoke on Jeremiah 16:6 “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.”  The campers had a great time talking about the decisions they need to make in life when they are standing at the crossroads.  We talked with them about how to make the right decisions and reminded them that they are not alone.  God is standing with them at every crossroad and every hard or easy decision.  All they have to do is ask for God’s assistance and He promises to show them the way.  A camper named Blake made a decision to follow Christ during the week as a result of these conversations.  Wintertainment is a lot of fun, but it is more about studying the heart of God in Scripture than it is about all the activities.  Thanks for praying!!!
