She calls me Michael

The woman you see sitting next to me is Miss Lisa Trimble. We are dating. This is the biggest blessing that has happened this past year.  It took a little over six years of waiting for the right moment to finally, seriously ask her out. I know, eight years I’ve known her and now we are dating? I can assure you it has been well worth the wait. For both of us we can see how the Lord has worked out His timing in all of this. In a playful way, we (really… more me) needed to grow up and mature before we (more… her) could notice the other. Sufficed to say, I really, really, really like her .  Yes, there is a good story behind all of this, but I’ll save that for another time.  Maybe on my website
Lisa has been in food service here at camp for over thirteen years. These last three years she has been the Food Service Director and does an exceptional job at it (I can testify to that fact I really like food).  I’m sure in future writings you will hear much more about how things are going between us.  For now we are dating and are seeking the Lord’s direction in all of this.  There is much confusion now at camp, though. No one knows what to call me… “Herbie”, Mike, Michael?  Lisa is now calling me Michael.  I call her……...often .
