House Warming

I’ve had several opportunities to have people over. Most of them planned but one planned without me. As the tradition goes at Camp Forest Springs, if as a missionary staff one buys their first home, they will receive a unannounced visit at an unannounced time. So at 7:00 am on Friday, November 11, 2005 about 30-45 Camp Forest Springs Staff came into my home (while I was still in my PJ’s) and began my personal “housewarming” complete with coffee, juice, donuts, bars, cake, and rolls. There was also a personalized book written by each of the staff to commemorate the event.

Getting Settled

Well, the new home is such a blessing. Mom and Dad came up for several reasons. One to see me and the new home but also to come to camp for Couples Retreat and Pastors Retreat.

Both Mom and Dad couldn’t say enough about the new place. They also brought up many things to fill it. Years of collecting now finally a place to put it smile.

Herbie’s Home

I’m please to announce that the Lord has found a home that is more than I can imagine for me. It has location, location, location. It is a sound structure with great potential for future development. It also has a long history of Christian service in this community.

My official closing date is October 19th, 2005 and that will also be my moving day (hint, hint smile ). I’ll be listing some items of possible needs on the support needs & praises page.
